Mississagi Provincial Park

Image Gallery

Find solitude and undeveloped wilderness at Mississagi north of Elliot Lake. Paddle on pristine lakes and hike over 40kms of trails to spectacular vistas, especially in autumn when the fall colors of the park's maple and birch forest are outstanding. Watch for fossil evidence of ancient wave action in "ripple rock" sometimes spotted along park trails. The campground provides a great base to relax in-between wilderness excursions. Whether you're in the campground, or out on the trail or lake, listen for warblers, vireos and flycatchers as they flit through towering White Pine and ancient Hemlocks.
